COVID-19
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is taking all necessary measures to minimise disruption to our emergency response during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We have robust contingency plans in place should we encounter a high number of absences among firefighters and staff to ensure we continue to respond to every emergency to protect Scotland's communities.
Very High risk individuals are those who are -
- over 50 years old
- smoke
- live alone or
- have mobility issues
- or use medical oxygen
For more information on this, visit our Make the Call campaign page.
We also have advice for businesses during this time.
