Official Statistics
We publish two statistical bulletins annually; the Fire Safety and Organisational Statistics are published in August and the Incident Statistics are published in October of each year.
We also maintain two downloadable workbooks of our statistics and publish a guidance document to support their use.
The next editions will be published on:
- Incident Statistics – 31 October 2022
- Fire Safety and Organisational Statistics – 31 August 2022
In 2019 we ran a user consultation, our response is now available.
Alongside each bulletin, tables and charts are provided in a downloadable workbook and recent publications are accompanied with a highlights infographic. Policy documents are also provided and updated periodically. Until 2015, statistics about the fire and rescue service were published by Scottish Government.
Please always source statistics from the latest version of the Tables and Charts workbook as statistics may be revised over time.
