Medical check-up
As part of your hiring process, you must undergo a medical check-up.
What to expect
Before your check up
You'll be sent paperwork to complete and return ahead of your medical appointment. This will arrive with instructions on how to complete the paperwork.
You're asked to provide:
- a completed medical questionnaire about your medical history - physical and psychological health
- an optician’s report about your eye health and visual acuity - your optician will complete this following an eye test
On the day
The nurse will discuss the paperwork with you and complete a medical assessment. It includes:
- height
- weight
- blood pressure
- hearing test
- a test of your urine
A brief clinical examination will also be carried out.
