Shaping our Future Service: Your Say

Your views on what you want from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

Survey Update

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s ‘Shaping Our Future Service: Your Say survey’ has now closed with more than 6,400 responses across from communities across Scotland.

The online survey was open for six weeks and also involved more than 80 public engagement events in fire stations and in public places such as shopping centres, colleges, universities and community hubs across Scotland.

We have engaged with people in our communities to ask them what they want from their fire and rescue service and captured a wealth of views and insight from stakeholders and members of the public across Scotland. Overall this resulted in more than 1,500 hard copy surveys completed.

We thank those who took the time to participate in our survey. Your feedback is important to us.

Our next steps will be to review the responses we have received. This will help us to develop options for change before we run a full public consultation exercise later this year.

We will keep you informed as we progress.
