SFRS Operations Control mobilised six appliances to the scene and crews extinguished the fire at 12.50am on Saturday, June 20.
Three children - aged 5, 8 and 12 - were thereafter taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and sadly died a short time later. A 39-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where she remains and her condition is now described as not life threatening.
A joint investigation was launched and Police in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde have confirmed that the fire is not being treated as suspicious however enquiries are continuing. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
