Grenfell Tower Inquiry: Phase 2 report

Our thoughts remain with those who were affected by the truly tragic events of the Grenfell Tower fire in June 2017.

We have now received the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 2 report and will take time to fully consider and reflect on its findings and recommendations.

Following the publication of previous findings and reports, we established a dedicated working group to evaluate the recommendations against our existing operating arrangements and have developed an action plan to enhance our planning, prevention and response procedures to learn all possible lessons.

Where any changes are deemed necessary, we will work closely with our communities, partners, staff, unions, and the Scottish Government to ensure that they are introduced safely and effectively.
