Tweedsmuir, Scottish Borders
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.43pm on Saturday, 12 April, to reports of a large outdoor fire on the A701 near Tweedsmuir, Scottish Borders.
“Firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a fire affecting a large area of grass and gorse measuring approximately 600 x 50 metres.
“One fire appliance currently remains in attendance to assess the area.
“At its height, Operations Control mobilised nine fire appliances to the scene.”

Kentra Bay, Acharacle, Highland
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.02pm on Saturday, 12 April, to reports of a large outdoor fire near Kentra Bay, Highland.
“At its height, Operations Control mobilised nine fire appliances to the scene.
“Firefighters are currently working to extinguish a fire affecting a large area of grass measuring approximately 40 to 80 hectares.
“Crews remain in attendance.”

St Fergus, Peterhead
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1pm on Friday, 11 April, to reports of an outdoor fire in St Fergus near Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene where firefighters worked to extinguish a fire affecting a large area of dunes and grass measuring approximately 200 x 150 metres.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was safe.”

Fannyside Road, Cumbernauld
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.40pm on Thursday, 10 April, to reports of a large area of grass on fire in the Fannyside Road area, Cumbernauld.
"Two fire appliances were in attendance on Saturday, 12 April, to dampen down any hotspots.
“At its height, Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances to the scene, where firefighters are still working to extinguish a fire affecting three large areas of grass.
“As a precaution, members of the public are being asked to avoid the area and those in the local area should close windows and doors."

Thurso Moors, Thurso
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.30pm on Friday, 11 April, to reports of a fire in the open in Thurso Moors, near Moorside Avenue, Thurso.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances where firefighters are currently working to extinguish a fire affecting a large area of gorse and heather measuring approximately 250 metres.
“Crews remain in attendance.”

Glen Rosa, Arran
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.42pm on Thursday, 10 April, to reports of a large grass fire near Glen Rosa on Arran.
“At its height, Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances to the scene where a fire was affecting a large area of grass measuring approximately 600m x 600m.
“Two appliances remain at the scene and crews are continuing to work with partners to extinguish the fire.
“There are no reported casualties.”

"Crews had been in attendance at the scene on Thursday 10 April, where they worked to extinguish a fire in the open. At its height, four appliances were working in the moorland area."

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.45pm on Thursday, 10 April, to reports of a fire in the open at Pentland Hills, Edinburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances where firefighters worked to extinguish a fire affecting a large area of grass measuring approximately 75m x 1,000m.
“There were no reported casualties.
“Crews left the scene at around 9pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.03am on Tuesday, 8 April, to reports of grass on fire off the A844 on the Isle of Bute.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to the scene where a fire was affecting an area of grass measuring approximately one square mile.
“There were no reported casualties, and the last fire appliance left the scene at approximately 4.18pm on Thursday, 10 April.”

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.54am on Tuesday, 8 April, to reports of a large area of grass on fire near Bonhill in West Dunbartonshire.
“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances where firefighters extinguished a fire affecting an area of grass measuring approximately 1.5 miles.
“There were no reported casualties.
"Crews left the scene on Wednesday, 9 April at 7.08am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
