New defibrillators in East Kilbride

Kyle McGrath, the son of retired Station Commander Stephen McGrath, made a significant contribution to the Lanarkshire community.

Recently, he led a fundraising effort to buy two defibrillators for the East Kilbride area. He donated one of these life-saving devices to the East Kilbride Community Fire Station.

Station Commander Andy Crawford expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Service. He said: "We greatly appreciate Kyle's generous donation of this crucial piece of life-saving equipment.

The defibrillators will ensures that members of our local community have ready access to emergency medical support.

Kyle's contribution not only honours his father's legacy but also significantly enhances the safety and wellbeing of East Kilbride residents.

His actions show remarkable community spirit and dedication to helping others.
