Find out about SFRS Strategy and how you can contribute.

A public consultation has been launched to give you the opportunity to share your opinions on how we operate for the next three years.

The draft of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Strategy for 2025-28 outlines the SFRS Board and Chief Officer’s priorities, which are reflected in a number of the key objectives for the Service’s future.

Each objective includes a desired outcome, a description of what success looks like, and our proposed methods for achieving these goals.

These proposals aim to significantly enhance the safety of the people in Scotland.

Your input is crucial in shaping our strategic direction for the next three years and help shape our decision-making process.

Mark McAteer is the SFRS’s Director of Strategic Planning, Performance and Communications.

He said: “We believe that by engaging with our communities and listening to their needs, we can create a safer and more resilient Scotland for everyone.

“Your input is crucial in shaping our strategic direction for the next three years and help shape our decision-making process.”

The survey will run until Wednesday, 2 April.
